Mission Statement
The School of Library and Information Management
(SLIM) community of scholars
recognizes the central roles that information scholarship,

play in all sectors of our daily lives, locally, regionally,

SLIM also recognizes the
importance of mentoring between faculty and Ph.D.
students. It is through such
relationships that new and innovative processes, models,
and knowledge are generated.
