We six students, representing four different cohorts of Emporia SLIM students and five different states, gathered for one week for the experience of a lifetime--an opportunity to organize a small library from scratch in a beautiful and interesting setting.

Kristi Austin, lives in Pocatello, Idaho, where she is a library assistant in the Health Sciences Library at Idaho State University, and will graduate with Utah2  in August
Mary Bailey attends school at the home campus in Emporia, Kansas and is halfway through the program
Patricia Bezzant-Castelli is a children's librarian at the public library in Orem, Utah and will graduate in August.
Denis Brunke, from Portland, Oregon,  is part of SLIM OR4 and is in his first year of the program
Patty Frobisher is a reference librarian at the public library in Lafayette, Colorado, is part of SLIM CO6 and hopes to graduate in May 2003.
Pam Vaughn lives in Boise, Idaho, and will graduate with Utah2 in August.
