Tony Greiner – Clearly overworked, Tony strains to believe in a reality that exists beyond that of NatureBib. Tony worked very hard with a series of reports, which he is in the middle of here. Tony hails from Portland, OR. He has been a librarian for 10 years, and currently works at a public library in Tigard, a suburb of Portland. He is in the Oregon IV cohort, and is one heck of a bike rider!

Patti Myers – Seen here working hard on NatureBib. Patti lives in Kansas City. She works at the Kansas City, KS Public Library and is in charge of the book-mobile service. She adores her 8-year old son, Mario, and loved being outdoors in the Park.

Carol Grant – As seen on the treacherous rapids of Snake River under a bizarre purple sky. Carol lives in Topeka, KS and has been a SLIMer since fall 2001. She is a volunteer at the amazing Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. She is also a major cat-lover (but not cat-napper) and an extremely sweet person.

Cara Chambers – Cara, another hard worker on NatureBib, works at the Hillsboro Public Library (Oregon) part time. She was raised in Cheyenne, WY, and still has family in Jackson, who she visited while we were in the neighborhood. She also got married shortly after our course. Congratulations, Cara!

Denis Brunke – He is typing up labels for the pieces we cataloged. Denis was one of our course VIPs, who volunteered to help out and show the new kids the ropes. He took this course last Spring when it was brand new. He is in the Oregon cohort, has a great sense of humor and looks mighty cool in sunglasses.

Kristi Austin – Caught cataloging. Kristi was our other VIP. She recently graduated, in August 2002, from SLIM’s Utah 2 program. Now she is a librarian at Idaho State University. Kristi had a lot of knowledge in this particular program, as she was along in the student capacity in May 2002 and in the VIP role in Fall 2002.

Jeff McAdams – Faking the (half) thumbs up whilst searching NatureBib. Jeff recently graduated from the University of Kansas and currently works at the Engineering Library there. He started SLIM in the fall of 2002, and was, by far, the least experienced of all. He loves a challenge, especially when it is procrastinating on anything.

Janet Lyon – Showing a great attitude while she enters data into NatureBib. Janet lives on a farm near Newport, WA and has worked at Pend Oreille County Library for 19 years. She has been the executive director of the library since 1998. She loves cataloging and was excellent at any task.
