Globenet recognizes global paradigmatic change.
The emergence of global systems, driven by international economic forces and coupled with online digital technologies and the emergence of cybercultural forces  are shaping the outlines of the 21st Century.

Globenet strives to connect and engage, creating a global conversation.
Globenet strives to connect and engage with individuals and organizations for the purpose of undertaking a global conversation on these matters. Issues associated  with the flow of information, technology, and democracy are themes central to this   conversation.

Communication makes achieving these goals possible.
It is Globenet's view that meaning is created from a co-evolutionary process of research, conversation, analysis, and emergence. Globenet implements these goals through a series of activities including occasional conferences, publications, research activities, and technological projects, all online and in print.
